Liverpool Street

Liverpool Street StationĀ

Liverpool Street gets its name from the road it is in rather than the fact that trains from the station go to Liverpool. The trains leave from the station to all over East Anglia including places such as Colchester and Harwich. Its the third busiest station in London after Waterloo and Victoria and is home to the London to Stansted connection for the airport. Opened originally in 1874 it was built on the site of the original Bethlem Royal Hospital.
