RED FRENZY / MANIAC at the Fighting Cocks

RED FRENZY / MANIAC Saturday 8th November at the Fighting Cocks, Kingston

Fun night at the Fighting Cocks in Kingston catching up with a lot of old faces. The evening started in fine style with the assorted keyboard wizardry of Transistor Quartet (Maniac’s old bass player) pumping out quality tunes good and loud followed by most of the rest of the old Maniac themselves running through songs both old and new.  RED were headlining (featuring ex March of Anger members) and delivered a confident performance of hard hitting rock/metal. Also enjoyed the Dirty Ugly Punk Monkeys doing punked up cover versions of pop classics – always thought Katy Perry’s Hot and Cold would make a great punk song – so it was great to hear a band giving it some live.
