You wait ages for a show then two turn up together….

Two very promising shows preview tonight and open tomorrow.

First up is Eleven, cunningly titled as there are 11 street artists involved. Shepard Fairey, Matt Small, Blek Le Rat, Eine, Aiko, D*Face, Swoon (pictured below), Judith Supine, WK Interact, Jim Houser and Elbowtoe.

Eleven is on at the Leonard Street Gallery, 73A Leonard Street, London, EC2A 4QS. The show runs from the 9th March to the 18th April.

Swoon

Second is a show by Faile at Lazinc. ‘From Brooklyn With Love’ is on from 9th March to the 7th April and should feature plenty of their multi layered references to popular culture and comic books. I found this stencil by Faile in Brick lane yesterday so maybe they are in town right now.
