Wellington Arch in Hyde Park London

Wellington Arch, St James’s Park, London

Wellington Arch, Hyde Park London. Originally commissioned as an entrance to Buckingham Palace it was later repurposed as a victory arch celebrating Wellington’s defeat of Napoleon. Sitting atop of the structure is the largest bronze sculpture in Europe, which depicts the Angel of Peace descending on the ‘Quadriga’
