Hoover Building
Hoover Building
The Hoover Building is situated on the A40 Western Avenue heading out of London in Perivale. While its Art Deco facade looks magnificent in white on a sunny day you can get a great view of it at night when it is bathed in a green light. If you want to see it bear in mind that the lights are turned off at 10pm every night after understandable complaints from the neighbouring houses. The Hoover building was designed by Wallis Gilbert and Partners who were also the creators of Victoria Coach Station. It produced Hoover’s until its closure in the 1980’s.
