Blackfriars Underground Station, London. Blackfriars was subject to a major redevelopment by Network Rail which as part of the Thameslink Project completely redeveloped the Tube station entrance seen here shortly after its opening in February 2012. Around 40,000 passengers are expected to use this new facility each day, a 60% rise on previous figures for the station.
