The Urban Cook Book King Adz – review
The Urban Cook Book – King Adz
Just when you thought graffiti books were becoming a bit formulaic King Adz pops up with the Urban Cook Book which combines street food, art and style into one image packed volume. He takes the the best of all three forms from New York, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and London and mashes it all up into a thoroughly enjoyable visual feast. So from Paris we get a look at photographer JR’s stunning work, a recipe for deep_fried chicken Wings in oyster sauce and DJ Cam telling us how to make a classic record. In all there are 50 recipes and 25 urban talents featured in this 256 page full colour volume. King Adz really knows how to bring things alive with his obvious passion for the subject and while you won’t necessarily read this book page by page you’ll find yourself dipping in time and time again for some more inspiration and tasty ideas.
