Eastcote London Underground Station Eastcote Underground Station. Eastcote Underground Station in 2011 was decked out in Christmas lights _ quite an unusual display on the London Underground system. The station is home to both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines and is between Rayners Lane and Ruislip Manor. Opened in 1904 for a very short time it was served by steam trains before electrified trains started running through it 1905 as part of a very aggressive transformation of the underground system in London. It was redeveloped to a design by architect Charles Holden in the 1930’s and this iconic ‘box’ shape survives to the current day.
