St Pancras International Station
St Pancras International station
St Pancras International station is defined by its magnificent Barlow arch roof. Spanning 240ft with its highest point over 100 feet high it was at the time of its opening in 1868 the largest enclosed open space in the world. It measures 689 feet long and recent work has seen it completely re-glazed with 14,080 new panes of glass and the paint work sympathetically returned to its originally intended colour of sky blue. Since December 2007 it has been the London terminus of Eurostar trains arriving from the continent.
