Old Blackfriars Bridge

Old Blackfriars Bridge supports, London

All that remains of the earlier 1864 Blackfriars Rail bridge areĀ  columns still standing in the water and the Southern abutment. The bridge itself was removed in 1985 and these pillars are in part being used to support the redevelopment of the more modern Blackfriars bridge.
