Memorial to Lemmy in Burslem

Stopped off on my way up North to see Lemmy’s memorial by Andy Edwards in Burslem. What an incredibly fitting tribute in the Market Square of his hometown. It’s a wonderfully observed likeness, full of little details from the Iron Cross, to the plectrums on the mic stand, to the curled up bass lead. ‘Lemmy Forever’ appears large on a nearby building along with several iconic photos of his time fronting up Motorhead. Well worth the detour.
