Banksy – Death in a pink car, Truman Brewery

This Triumph GT6 had been quietly sitting on top of a container off Brick Lane for a while before it got the Banksy treatment – pink paint job and the addition of Death in the form of a skeleton as a new driver. there was also a Banksy tag on the container that the artwork sits on. Over time the tag has been painted over and the window of the car removed (location is now unknown). The car weirdly became completely encased in a Perspex box, despite missing all the key components of Banksy’s treatement.

Status: Car remains, skull window and tag has gone
