Banksy Locations Map
The Banksy Locations Map has been viewed over 5 million times to date and is regularly updated with locations of Banksy artwork and shows in the UK. While many of the pieces have disappeared since their creation, the map records these along with pieces that are still in place. Clicking on any location will reveal when it was painted, a description of the piece, area and current status along with a photo of the work.
How to use the Banksy Locations map
Please look at the colour code and read the comments before travelling.
BLUE PIN – all still there but probably under perspex maybe with some tagging obscuring the view.
RED CROSS – still visible but not in original state, some major detail of the piece will have gone or been obscured
RED EXCLAMATION – completely gone, nothing to see anymore.
PURPLE MARKER – location of a previous official Banksy show (please note there are no shows in the UK that are authorised by the artist at present).
(Note: This is not an exhaustive list of every Banksy location ever – no such map exists -yet)!
If you’d like to filter the map click on the box with the arrow in the top left corner and you can then select / deselect the following options:
- Banksy- Visible artworks
- Banksy – Lost London artworks
- Banksy – Previous show locations
Filtering the above will make the map less cluttered if, for example, you just wanted to wanted to see Banksy artworks that are still visible and in good condition.
If you visit any of these locations and find the Banksy work has been damaged / removed let me know (and I’ll quickly take it off the map). Keeping the map up to date really helps others and saves wasted journeys. You can find my contact details via the link at the top of the page. Thanks, Steve
