A little bit of stencil history

C6 / Dotmasters have been around in street art as long as I can remember. Back around the turn of the century Dotmasters ‘new media new arse’ stencil was all over Shoreditch (a few examples even survive to this day but the one below is a non street version). Recent work including the Cans Festival exudes quality. Last week Dotmasters added new pieces to Mutate Britain (London’s show of 2008 surely? I don’t know anyone who’s been once who hasn’t returned). Pictures below. Some of this work is very well priced too and looks stunning in the flesh.
