A couple more shows, one just opened and another due to open.
First up Sweet Toof has a solo show at Sartorial Art near Kings Cross from December 19th. His last show there with Burning Candy (Tek33 and Cyclops) was an amazing collection of paintings and redecorated found objects. It opens for a few days in December and then for a longer stint again in January.
Already underway is ‘The Nightmare before Christmas’ – a show from Little Art Book and the Daydream Network featuring featuring Focus, The Krah, One Trick Pony, Pure Evil, K-Guy, Hush, Rugman, ATG, Hutch, Inkfetish, Tek 13, Snub, Dan Kitchener, Paintshop, Oh Death, Ashab Mishfit, Adam Mallett, Vilchez, Sinhouse, Blam, Jimi Crayon, Tom Hovey and more.
Its simple for everyone to get to being not far from Tottenham Court Road station: The Courtyard, SIN. 144 Charing Cross Road, London, WC2H 0LB.
The recently held POW open day seemed to be pretty mad on the Saturday. I turned up Sunday afternoon and it was a much more chilled out affair. Grafter was busy stenciling the Sausage Man’s van and ATG were just making sure it was unlikely POW were going to get their deposit back on the van hire! POW raised nearly £25K from a raffle to win or buy a Banksy print. The charity chosen is a really good one – sightsavers international – and with an adult cataract operation costing only £17.00 to perform its one where the money can make a huge difference to a lot of peoples lives.

Nice to see this by Redlock – and it saves me having to go to South East London to find it.
The staff at POW were happy to screen print onto pretty much anything.

A rather large and magnificent canvas by Gee Vaucher inside POW. All of which brings this post full circle back to Sweet Toof
