Andy Warhol at Tate Modern
Andy Warhol – Marilyn Diptych – Acrylic paint on two canvases
Last thing I did before Lockdown kicked in was visit Andy Warhol – the just opened blockbuster exhibition at Tate Modern. I was lucky to see this – it closed after the first four days and who knows when it will open again. It’s worth seeing too. It’s full of some of his most iconic images and interesting details about his life presented in a thoughtful way designed to help you connect to the times he lived in. Here’s some of the standout work.
Pre lockdown at Tate Modern – even on the day before the new rules were applied there was virtually no one about. It felt more than a little surreal having this huge gallery space basically to yourself.
