For Ukraine – how London’s street and graffiti artists responded to the war
In the early hours of the 24th February 2022 Russian invaded neighbouring Ukraine and while it’s often difficult to become directly involved in the fight back many graffiti and street artists felt the need to express their support for Ukraine. It’s easy to say ‘how does this help’ and of course there are many direct ways to aid the people of Ukraine but it’s important that they feel people care about their plight the world over and these images will be transported far beyond their immediate surroundings.
