Windsor Bridge, WindsorWindsor Bridge was designed by Charles Hollis and opened in 1824. It imposed a toll on those crossing up until 1898 when Joseph Taylor secured free travel for all across the bridge. By 1970 problems were found that led to it being closed to vehicles and it now functions as just a very wide footbridge between Windsor and Eton. You can often see as shown in this picture large amounts of swans on the nearby riverbank which are very popular with the towns many tourists.
